Speed's his name and Racing's his game!

Journal Entry: Sun May 11, 2008, 10:55 AM
Just saw the Speed Racer movie! Amazing, exciting, and High octane are merely understatements! Stunning visuals and crazy action! There's car-fu, car-FU! This was like the Matrix with cars and bright colors. Highly recommended. Especially if you have that old Speed Nostalgia. This stays true to the old school show with more to boot. Give it a chance and get sucked into the excitement! Go, Speed, GO!

European Artists! Wowzas!

Journal Entry: Sun Aug 5, 2007, 11:12 PM
In a market filled over flowing with odd American art and Japanese animation I find that a certain art form is overlooked: European art. European artists are just so amazinglingly talented! Not just animation but all art is taken so seriously over there that a highschooler knows better color theory than a college student in America. I'm always so impressed with European, especially French, art. Despite the experimentality of it, the styles and forms that come out of that area of the world are very inspiring. When I take time to step back from the business oriented art world of the US, and the over-the-top, over saturated anime of Japan, European art is so exotic. The surrealness, or shear creativity from the art form is fantastic! Now I don't mean to down play American or Japanese, or Russian, or whatever other country's art form. I love all art and feel that it has a place in the world. I am a big advocate of American art and a fan of the anime style. I just feel that European art is something I hear about in small portions compared to American filmography, or Anime. So I guess this is a tribute to all European artists out there. Thank you and I wish you good luck.

P.S. share some of that greateness with me please ha, ha!
